  • HOW TO USE FLIXONASE

    To get the most from each spray, slide the scroll bar below and follow the simple steps.

  • CUT OPEN

    Look for the scissors icon in the top right corner of the pack.
    Cut along the top of the package, up the side and then along the bottom.
    Recycle excess packaging.

  • SHAKE

    Shake the bottle gently.

  • UNCAP

    Remove the green cap.

  • PRIME

    Aim away from face.
    Grasp spray bottle as shown.
    Pump until fine mist appears.

    ONLY DO THIS WHEN:

    Starting a new bottle.
    Haven’t used it in a week.
    Just cleaned the nozzle.

    NO MIST?

    Pumped several times and still no mist?
    Spray nozzle may be clogged.See KEEP IT CLEAN below.

  • BLOW

    Blow nose gently to clear nostrils.

  • AIM

    Close one nostril and put tip of spray nozzle in the other nostril.

    Put just the tip into your nose.

    Aim slightly away from centre of nose.

    WARNING: Do not spray in your eyes. Only for use in your nose.

  • BREATHE AND SPRAY

    While sniffing gently, press down on spray nozzle once or twice (according to dosing instructions). You’ll feel a light mist in your nose. Breathe out through your mouth.

    REPEAT IN OTHER NOSTRIL.

     

    Wipe spray nozzle with clean tissue and replace cap.

FLIXONASE® is recommended for once daily use in a 24hour period. 

KEEP IT CLEAN

A clean spray nozzle helps ensure a full dose. Clean it weekly, or if it’s clogged. Don’t try to unblock the nozzle with a pin or sharp object— doing so can damage it. 

REMOVE

Remove spray nozzle by grasping at base and pulling up.

RINSE

Rinse under running tap, and dry at room temperature.

REPLACE

Aim away from your face and gently replace spray nozzle until  a soft click is heard.

SOAK

If spray nozzle is still clogged, soak in warm water. Then repeat steps 2 and 3.

DOSAGE:

 

DOSAGE: Use two sprays into each nostril once a day.

Do not use more than two sprays into each nostril per day. Do not use more than the recommended dose.

 

It is important that you use the nasal spray regularly for the recommended treatment duration.

 

Flixonase contains fluticasone propionate. ALWAYS READ THE LABEL. Use only as directed. For the treatment and prevention of allergic rhinitis.  If symptoms persist, see your healthcare professional.
